Jennifer joins Rachel Beetz for a concert that explores what two musicians can do away from their instruments. Autoduplicity investigates themes of bodily boundaries, spoken word as music, and an exploration of the musical sounds our bodies are capable of.

Jennifer joins over 25 artists in the 11th Annual Carlsbad Music Festival. The Village Music Walk on Saturday, Sept 20 features over 25 artists playing over 50 sets in 7 hours throughout the Village of Carlsbad.

The Cello Seminar is designed to explore music written for the cello by twentieth and twenty-first century composers.The wide range of repertoire, from classics to works on the cutting edge, will include pieces by such composers as Carter, Hyla, Harvey, Mackey, Jolas, Webern, Harbison and Tower. 

Works for solo cello and cello ensemble will be performed at the end of the week in Hubbard Hall, a beautifully restored 19th-Century Vaudeville Hall in Cambridge, New York. Located at the Brown Farm in rural New York, the seminar is open to young professional and professionally-bound.

Tiffany DuMouchelle, soprano and doctoral candidate at the University of California in San Diego, presents a concert of works for soprano and friends. Jennifer joins Tiffany and percussionist Steven Solook in the performance of Jorge Sosa's Maori Songs, a work based on the indigenous Maori people of New Zealand.

Sino alla morte, kallisti's fifth chamber opera, pairs music by two Italian composers,  Barbara Strozzi (1619-1677) and Salvatore Sciarrino (1947- ) inspired by Sophocles' The Women of Trachis. Susan Narucki leads the production, with guest music director Steven Lewis.

Through the generosity of Dean Seth Lerer, this event is free to the UCSD Community.
