About
BROILER is Oracle Egg’s residency series. Curated by Melissa Achten and Eli Klausner, it supports the incubation of ambitious new work in sound and performance that pushes form and genre. It aims to be a platform for large-scale projects that will be developed from scratch or are in early stages and need further development. Selected proposals are granted a 3 to 7 day residency with full access to the space as well as high quality documentation.
Jennifer Bewerse will present a workshop version of her Double Spaces concert. Double Spaces is a multimedia performance that reflects on friendship, how we support and find support in each other, and what we gain when we refuse to avoid the hardest parts of our relationships. The piece is a collage of live performance, recordings, creative lighting, and ephemera from Jennifer's 10-year friendship and artistic collaboration with Heather Barnes.
